Fabric in the Florida Sun
Strong light fades some fibers faster than others, and humidity is hard on natural weaves. We steer sun-facing rooms toward fade-resistant and solution-dyed fabrics, and save the delicate goods for rooms that stay shaded.

Fabric has a hard life in Southwest Florida. Sun through big windows fades it, humidity tests it, and sandy feet and pets find it. We choose fabrics for the room they are going into: performance weaves for family rooms and lanai cushions, lighter natural fabrics where the sun is gentler, and drapery fabric that frames a view without fading in a season.
We have access to to-the-trade fabric lines sold only through designers, and you see and handle the real samples in our studio before anything is cut and sewn.
