A small, owner-led studio in Charlotte Harbor: Holly and Lori, two designers who've each run their own firms, and Margaret, a design coordinator who came to interiors by way of residential drafting.

Holly

Holly received her design degree at IADT in Tampa, Florida, and went on to own A Point of You Interiors in St. Pete for 15 years.

Today she co-owns Interior Motives Design with Lori, working with clients by appointment across Southwest Florida.

Lori

Lori was the owner of a landscape design company for 25 years, then spent 11 years as Design Coordinator at Home Showcase Interiors.

Today she co-owns Interior Motives Design with Holly, working with clients by appointment across Southwest Florida.

How the Studio Began

Two Firms’ Worth of Experience, One Studio

Holly and Lori met in 2023 in Punta Gorda. They soon became partners, combining their experience to open the Interior Motives Design Studio in Charlotte Harbor.

Their passion for interior design continues in creating beautiful spaces throughout Florida.

Margaret

Margaret joined the team as Design Coordinator, bringing a strong passion for design and a unique background in residential drafting. She worked for two engineering firms, gaining hands-on experience drafting residential homes, aluminum structures, and septic design.

Where the Work Happens

Between showroom visits, market trips, and client homes, most of the design happens long before anything is installed.

    The initial consultation is complimentary and it's mostly us asking questions about how you live.

  2. You See It Before You Buy It

    Layouts, palettes, and selections are presented for your review before anything is ordered.

  3. Same Team, Start to Finish

    The people who design your space are the same people coordinating the install.

  4. By Appointment

    We meet you at your home or at the studio in Charlotte Harbor — whichever suits the project.
