Area Rugs & Floor Coverings in Punta Gorda
Area rugs sized and layered for each room — wool, natural fibers, and performance weaves that stand up to sand, sun, and bare feet.
The Rug Sets the Room
In a house full of tile and hard flooring, the rug is what makes a seating group read as a room. Get the size right and everything else falls into place; get it wrong and even beautiful furniture looks like it's floating.
What We Help With
- Rug sizing and placement for each seating, dining, and bedroom area
- Custom-cut and bound rugs when a standard size won't work
- Wool, natural fiber, and performance constructions matched to the room's traffic
- Runners for halls and stairs, and layered rugs over tile
- Pads that keep rugs flat, quiet, and in place
- Coordinating rug color and pattern with existing tile and wood flooring
Rugs for Coastal Living
Sand, wet feet, and salt air are hard on floor coverings. Flat weaves and performance fibers clean up easily and dry fast, while looser, high-pile constructions are better saved for bedrooms and other low-traffic rooms.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size rug should I get for my living room?
In most living rooms, the rug should be large enough that at least the front legs of every seating piece rest on it. We measure the room and furniture plan to get it right.
Can you get a rug in a custom size?
Yes. Many lines can be cut and bound to a specific size, which is often the answer for long halls and odd-shaped rooms.
Where We Work
Rugs & Floor Coverings Across Southwest Florida
Based in Charlotte Harbor, we work with homeowners throughout the Gulf Coast, including:
Area Rugs for Punta Gorda & Port Charlotte Homes
Tile and hard floors are everywhere around Charlotte Harbor, so rugs do a lot of work: they define the living, dining and reading areas in an open great room, soften sound, and make a space feel warm. They also have to cope with sand, sun and bare feet coming in from the pool.
We size each rug to the furniture plan, layer them where it helps, and choose between wool, natural fibers and performance weaves for the way the room is used.
